More than 60,000 callers generated $6.1 million dollars during the Promesa y Esperanza (Promise and Hope) radiothon held by Univision Radio, a division of Univision Communications Inc. The radiothon, benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, took place February 7 and 8, 2008.
During the two-day broadcast event, St. Jude patients and their families visited the radio stations to share their St. Jude experience with listeners and volunteers. Hispanic celebrities also joined the St. Jude's life-saving mission by lending their voices during the radiothon. Among those who supported the event was singer Luis Fonsi, among many others.

Viva La Música singers set at SeaWorld Orlando

The entertainment lineup for SeaWorld Orlando's Viva La Música, a Latin heritage festival, has been set. Performances, included in regular park admission, are at 4 p.m. at the park's Bayside Theater, where Luis Fonsi will be performing on May 3rd. If you're in the area, don't miss out!

2008 is upon us and the year seems promising. By the first trimester of the year we can expect to hear Fonsi's new single on the radio airwaves and the release of his new album. Something definitely to look forward to this year!
